"Well this was a surprise. We arrived later in the evening and the cabins were kind enough to call and let us know how to access the cabins.
When we got there it was very dire, however. it is possible most of the tenants are AT hikers and don't care about accommodations, but that isn't us. It was the first time i 5 years my husband wanted to leave right away and find another place to leave. The bath sink was held up by a radiator due to someone having pulled it off the wall. "I think this hotel is very much “you get what you pay for” and you can take that however you want. This is about my 3rd time staying at this motel and I enjoy it. It doesn’t hurt the pocket and it does its job! Gives us a comfortable place to rest up .. I’ve noticed a few odd things about the place, like a light switch being placed inside of the bathtub, or a tv not working. But it’s nothing I can’t look past. Me and my family enjoy staying here and haven’t really run into any problems yet and we’ll definitely be staying again in the future."
"Attractive, well maintained and easy to find. Beds were fine and bathrooms very clean. Everything worked. Near a large gas station but did not seem to present a problem with traffic noise. The provided breakfast was normal for it's type but a good selection. Free soup, iced tea and ice cream for guests. Hard working staff that were professional and friendly."
