"This location was a very good location in which to stay near our needed to be at locations. We had a decent room but the room was tired looking and in need of updating. We had one issue in the bathroom where a small roach came out and was dealt with immediately. The hotel could have made more money by stocking up the drinks and snacks area. The breakfasts were okay but better options would have been nice along with better coffee. The staff was always friendly and where they could be they were accommodating. We have not share some of these items with the front desk as we were busy trying to get to our various locations. We tried to even stay at another La Quinta in Flagstaff, AZ but they had a elevator that was broken and no more down stairs rooms. We did see that the pool was without water and that would have been nice to know ahead of the booking. The location was convienent to where we needed to be for the week. We liked that there were many restaurants and shopping options nearby too."

"We stayed at this hotel for four days, and overall, we had a great experience. Here are some of the things we loved: 1. They offered a different breakfast menu every day, which kept things interesting. 2. Our room was cleaned daily, and the towels were replaced every day as well. 3. They have washers and dryers available for guests, which is very convenient if you’re traveling light. 4. There is an ice machine and a water refill station on-site. 5. The staff were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. 6. There was plenty of parking available, so finding a spot was never an issue. The only problem we encountered was with the key cards. We had to replace them four times because they repeatedly stopped working and the door would not recognize them. Despite that inconvenience, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s amenities and service."

"We loved the location of this site. It is so close to so many parts of manitiou Springs. We also really loved the staff. There was construction going on while we were there, but the staff worked really hard to help us work around that. The only complaint I would’ve had is that the HVAC system seem to turn on quite a bit during the night, and I was unable to turn it off. Otherwise, I would stay here again."

"This historically-themed hotel is a nostalgic, 1970s-era hotel with large rooms, a banquet area, a bar, a pool and arcade (yes…. Arcade) for kids of all ages . Very convenient access to several restaurants and bars within a 7 minute walk, as this is a downtown location. Approximately 25 minutes to/from the airport. The staff is really great. Notably, the onsite engineer David is awesome… very personable and very responsive. Give that guy a bonus. Parking onsite is under the hotel. If you make your reservations far enough in advance, you can get your room(s) for very reasonable prices. But.. it is showing its age. So, the restaurant was a tale of two meals: nothing special for breakfast, but their dinner menu was great! New dinner options included sliders, a nice charcuterie board for 2 or 3; nachos; and multiple burger options. A group of us (5 families, 22 people) returned from the USAFA Commissioning ceremonies with libations and food on our minds. The bar was well stocked, bar-tenders were both professionals, and the food was on point. Two days later, they closed the bar early (2100, vice 2200) so we were disappointed after the great experience two days before that. Recommendations: The property can really use a focused “retrofit” and a one-week deep cleaning that should include stretching all the carpets, cleaning the HVAC, and reconditioning the HVACs. We would stay there again.. and recommend this establishment."

"If you want a hotel within a ten minute drive of the Colorado Springs airport, you should consider this hotel. But .. please read the details below. What we liked: proximity to the airport; room was clean ; air conditioning units were very responsive ; they do have a shuttle to the hotel ; there are two elevators ; there is a breakfast buffet available, but only from 0630-0830. However, you can order a “to go” breakfast if you are flying earlier than the breakfast buffet is open. What we didn’t like: the shuttle to/from the airport is from another hotel, and only available from 0500-1700; and only picks up on the hour+10, or hour+40. And, you have to schedule pick-ups in advance. So, this is a Hyatt close to an airport without its own shuttle. No coffee in the room.. I’m baffled on this one. Air conditioning was either on or off.. there was no way modulate it. So when you’re sleeping, do not expect a constant temperature unless you leave the door open to the front room and leave that one on. The elevators are small.. really small and barely fit the baggage trolly and the two of us. And, the elevators are not convenient to find as the signs are deceptive when directing customers to the actual elevator locations. Parking spots are more sized for compacts and motorcycles than SUVs, minivans and trucks."
