"I would not recommend this hotel. ALL the rooms are pet friendly. And there’s carpet in all the rooms. They had to change our room the first night because there was hair all over the couch and on the floor along with some dog food. In both rooms curtains and shades were torn. Told the staff that the air conditioner/heater did not work in the bedroom part. Said he’d get someone to fix it that never happened. The breakfast was not good at all. The only thing we really ate was the waffles that we make ourselves. The second day we were there we asked for milk and he said they were out. The breakfast had only been open one hour. There was never any yogurt. They turned off the water on the second day to do some repairs and said that it would be much better for all the rooms. Not sure what made it better because would take almost 5 minutes for the water to get warm enough to take a shower after they fixed. Checking in and checking out did not go very smoothly. This could be an awesome hotel. It’s close to a lot of things, but it is not very well maintained or didn’t appear to have a lot of staff available."

The breakfast area was always kept clean and tidy, and the food was delicious. I had a lost item and it was located by the staff kept at the front desk. I highly recommend this place to stay in Manitou Springs."
