"When I checked into the hotel on June 23rd, I was asked for a $100 cash deposit and told it would be returned upon checkout the following day. We checked out around 5:00 AM on June 24th, but when I asked for the deposit back, I was told it couldn't be returned until after 10:00 AM because the person with access to the safe didn't arrive until then. I then asked if they could credit the amount back to the card I had used to pay for the reservation, but they told me that wasn't possible."
