"A festinating old property. Somewhere up to 200 years old so lots of history. Has had a good facelift, in that the origins are still visible. Even the floors creaked appropriately. Staff was first rate, both for the check in and breakfast. Accommodated us in English with no hesitation. "If you think about to stay at this hotel at off season, remember this, the front desk close early. The door to the front desk is locked when we arrived around 5:00 pm. We got our envelope with the key to get to our room. We had to go around to find it as the direction indicated on the map included with the envelope was not clear. No ice machine, you want ice, they sell it (when they are open). Around this area the is almost no option to buy food. Most of the place to order to deliver won’t take the order because the hotel is too far from the downtown. You will have to drive about 20 minutes to downtown to buy food or dine in. Will not be back."
