Spacious king suite with a huge balcony. Room showed some wear and tear but was quite comfortable. 2 steps up to the bathroom area created concern those steps would be missed. Staff went above and beyond to meet any requests. Food was delicious. Spoke some English.

Excellent and quiet get away

The staff was very accomodating. My wife has been ill and we had to make several trips to the hospital in town which was very close. The staff worked with us to reschedule activities. We had to check out early and the staff was very helpful. Its a great place to relax that is close to town

I was surpriesed by the state of the hotel. We were unprgraded from junior suite to villa. I never asked for the upgrade. The jacuzzi was broke and not usable. It also was full of leaves and dirty attracting mosquito. I will pass on this hotel

A beautiful property and an amazing experience. The atmosphere, rooms, staff, and food are all excellent. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Waking up to the sounds of birds is relaxing. We did a few tours through the hotel and they were all well thought out and enjoyable. We communicated with the hotel via whats app before arriving and their communication was on point. The hotel is a warm and happy place. They are dedicated to giving you a great experience and not nickel and dime you. This is truly a family run hotel where everyone is made to feel welcome. My Tibetan mother and I were even more warmed to see Tibetan furniture around the hotel - side by side and complementing the local artisan furniture and decorations.

This hotel is misleading and not as advertised. BE CAREFUL WHEN GIVING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. They will charge your card without your permission without any details. ALSO, there accounting and the way they handle money is very bad. I booked through Orbitz and was not supposed to pay until after my stay. The hotel broke this policy and requested I pay in advance before me arrival. This is not right and because of the language barrier it made it challenging to communicate. Also the Masinga Lodge not well cared for and feels like you’re outside in the jungle with all the bugs and insects inside your living space. The garden in there is not well manicured and overgrown. The rooms smells like mold and musty. I do not recommend staying here. The staff are unprofessional and but try their best to help guests.
