"My overall experience was quite positive with the hotel itself. The staff were friendly and they upgraded my room aftera small issue was discovered after checking int. By the way, I booked a city view room, but I was given a lake view (along with construction view on going right now), but I was moved to another room, so no issues with the room. The only drawback was the location of the hotel sitting on a permanently closed mall in the middle of residential area/cnstruction zone, hence NO place to dine/shop nearby. Walking to the residential area looks like variety of shops are available by looking at the map. However, there's no paved sidewalk from hotel into the residential area and you need to watch your steps as well as the traffic while walking in the street. Personally, I would not recommend walking in this area at all. Also I did not find the shops very useful after taking the trouble walking there. You'd be better off driving to nearby mall (IOI Mall) or city center (or any other malls with food/shops etc.). Unless you have your own vehicle, you will be relying on Grab. Be mindful the traffic is congested every morning until 10 a.m.-ish and between 4:30 & 10 p.m., so plan ahead when calling the Grab. If you are not used to Islamic praying, you will hear the praying exactly @5:55 a.m. every morning from the nearby Mosque. It's not too loud or last long, but I wish I had known about it prior, as it was loud enough for me to wake up every morning at this time."

"Beautiful hotel. Smells amazing as soon as you enter the stunning reception area. Reception staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was perfectly fitting for my week stay for a work trip. Service staff on level 13 roof top bar need to to be more attentive. Gym clean and reasonably equipped as was the pool area. Local amenities quite good from food options to laundry, etc all good. Breakfast options could be improved and replenished better and the coffee really isn’t great. Maybe the quality of beans could be improved?"
