"Stayed here for our son's graduation. Prices were reasonable compared to other hotels, as it WAS Graduation weekend.The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful, but the staff for the breakfast service were not friendly at all! Breakfast was not the best. Its minimal to say the least and they close it up at 9:30 am! Seriously that is just so early compared to other hotels! Rooms are clean, bathroom too! Beds are ok (not the most comfortable) although when my husband pulled the covers out, two dog bones fell out of the bottom of the bed! One thing is for sure...we did NOT bring a dog with us! Not many bells and whistles so to speak, but overall it was fine for what we needed as is was nearly impossible to find a reservation for Graduation Weekend! "

"Book this place only if you are in a desperate situation like us and run out of options. Really a very old building which they are trying to keep up. It’s next to a very active train line , and freight trains runs through the night, worst they always HONK even in middle of night. Breakfast was average and the whole building has this stench like. Hospital corridor."

"This is a large, very clean, very well run hotel. We had two kings rooms. Plenty of space. We ate and drank on-site and everything was very good."

"The front desk staff was outstanding. I would have to point out Lionell ( sorry if spelled incorrectly) especially for his understanding and aim to please. Our accommodations were excellent. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels. Courtesy all around at this place. I would not hesitate to recommend it to travelers headed for State College."
