"The location of the Imperial hotel is good and the bed and room was comfortable but the noise was a big problem. I stayed Friday and Saturday night and on both nights there was a wedding and or party, the disco went on until midnight (loud music, screams and shouts) but the party and noise continued until 1am. The noise prevented me from sleeping and the hotel was taken over by the wedding party guests. You were made to feel that you were in the way. I had an issue with housekeeping when personal items from my room weren’t missing, Housekeeping blamed reception for the problem when I spoke to reception they blamed housekeeping. After some discussions I was advised that the manager would speak with me but no manager made contact. I got the impression that the manager was avoiding me. On check out I asked about the manager and was given an email address to use if I had any concerns. Totally unprofessional and unsatisfactory. I would not stay at the Imperial hotel again and if there are weddings on its very busy and very noisy."

"The Edwardian experience like no other! Excellent breakfast, cooked for you from the menu. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room and hospitality tray. Room needed re wall papering and the shower was just warm enough but the water from the basin tap was very hot. Petrol station across the road with shop. Great pub across the road and walking distance to town. "

"This is the room you see in movies. The perfect bed and breakfast with the iconic view at the foot of the bed. Worn wooden floors that feel good under your feet, high ceilings with crown molding. Crisp white linens and a duvet you can loose yourself in. You will love this room. "
