"The woman that was there to check me in was rude and unpleasant. However the rest of the staff, including the valet drivers, were nice. The room was okay (although for a river view room, the river was not visible). I wish the room had bottled water and/or snacks (in addition to having them available in the sundry). Great location, good price, nothing fancy."

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our transportation bus broke down, causing us to arrive approximately one hour later than planned. "What’s not to love about the Celeste? Everything you could ask for in a cozy hotel. Lovely accomodating staff, warm breakfast, the room was clean both upon arrival and when my partner and I were out and about. Parking was right next door at the World Trade Center parking ramp, and wasn’t expensive (overnight park there was $24; compared to Chicago, that’s a steal). "The worst breakfast of any hotel! And the kitchen staff was very unfriendly!"

"The room was lovely. It was clean, and very cute. I accessed it via a code emailed several hours before check-in. I did not see or interact with the front desk folks during my entire stay. My only issue was interrupted sleep. The people in the room next door (or somewhere close to my room) were very loud. I woke up to what sounded and smelled like a party. If it weren’t for the interrupted sleep, I would say it was a wonderful place to stay. If I stay here again, I will request a quieter floor."

"The rooms are always clean at this hotel and the staff is very welcoming and remembers who you are which is always a fun experience. I like the private parking access especially if you are there for car events and need a safe parking space! The pool area could use some updating but overall it was nice to stay, I will say the only thing is that the rooms do get a little muggy in the summer especially if you are placed in a hotel that is higher up!"

"The staff at this location has no hospitality. Each receptionist I encountered had no personality and should not be working at the front desk. The room was not clean. There were water spots on the desk. The bed was so lumpy, needs a new mattress. The floor was dirty and had not been mopped. No long mirror in the room. Lastly, the cookie was old. It was burnt and kept in the warmer too long. I asked when they were baked and she stated could have been baked the date before. I thought the cookies...

"The main plus was the extreme cleanliness of the room. That said, it was a bit worn down and the air conditioning was so loud it was hard to talk or sleep in our room. The pool was tiny (max capacity of 5) and cold, so we only ended up using it for a few minutes. The staff we encountered were friendly. The breakfast was as expected."
