It’s not fair to point out the negative things without also mentioning the positive things.
Positive things
Hotel seems to be new and it is very clean.
Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly.
The bed looked pretty flimsy, but was actually quite comfortable.
The microwave and refrigerator were quite large.
Negative Things
There were absolutely no utensils of any kind in the kitchen area. Not a single thing. I have not ever stayed at another hotel with a kitchen where that was the case. I learned later they offer basic kitchen supplies for purchase. That seemed very odd to me, as I believe a reasonable person would expect there to be at least some basic kitchen utensils in a room with a kitchen. I should have checked their website before booking to see that they didn’t have any utensils, but I didn’t think it was necessary. That was quite disappointing to me and I would not have booked had I known it was the case.
Also, nothing to wash dishes with.
Lack of very basic things in the room. No iron, ironing board, hand towels or small bottles of lotion. Also very few hangers, no plastic laundry bags. A very bare bones feel to the entire room. I saw on the website that they do this to keep costs down, but the room was not cheap.
Overall, I was disappointed with the hotel and would not stay again, but if you don’t mind the very bare bones approach, it is a clean hotel with a friendly staff in a nice area, so you may enjoy it. Not for me though.
