Cheap, tasty Thai food shops within a couple of blocks. Great place for overnight near the airport when in transit or fighting jet-lag; used by flight crews from several airlines. Quirky decor with strong WWII aviation theme. Other hotels in the Sugar Marina chain are located in the nearby resort areas of Phuket City and in Ao Nang in Krabi...

"Pool area was nice with a good restaurant. Rooms were a good size with fab aircon. The masaage place attached to the hotel was very affordable and the best massage we had in thailand. The family room was a mattress on a mezzanine level. Definitely not suitable for anyone under 12. Free shuttle to the beach and airport, but no where to walk to of an evening other than a 7/11 about 2 monutes away"

"Rooms were very clean. Staff were friendly and would help in any way possible. They would recommend tours/transfers and then book them. Food was great in the restaurant and the roof top pool is a good place to go at the end of the day with drinks and food available. The hotel is off the main road a couple of blocks which makes it very quiet but yet close enough to walk to the beach or shops. Or take a Tuk Tuk from the door, staff will arrange it. Excellent place to stay for your visit."
