Definitely recommend staying here for a couple nights very remote and quiet makes for a relaxing time, loved the pool and beach they had right outside your doorstep, staff was super nice and the rooms were clean and cozy,

A really great place to stay at a very good price. Service was incredible and the restaurant served lovely food! At low tide about 40 minute walk along the beach to Laem Had Beach as well. Would highly recommend staying here (felt very safe and the rooms were very clean with good and well functioning facilities and amenities)

Excellent for money. Great for relaxing although unless you happy just to sit on beach or swim in pool you need transport ie go on tour or hire motor bike. Great rooms, good breakfast

Deluxe seafront room was amazing, great size with outdoor shower being a bonus. Pool and view amazing, but limited seating. Food was average but some good restaurants in the area.

Lovely, tranquil, simple slice of tropical beauty

A simple, quiet place, with great pool overlooking the beach and wonderful ocean views. Restaurant was OK ... convenient and friendly service, food was average. A wonderful, tranquil alternative to the much noisier and crowded Phuket scene. Very reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Mostly European guests.

Beautiful views and amazing staff

One of the most beautiful resorts I have ever been to. It’s the definition of relaxation. Staff was very attentive, food was good, sunsets and sunrise's were amazing. Don’t come here expecting night life. Expect peace, quit and your thoughts.

The hotel staff is very nice and helpful! The pool area is nice and the hotel is near sea. Our room was dirty and the hotel's food and breakfast is quite bad 2/5. The hotel is not four stars maybe 2.5/5. We was staying at low price cabins.

Friendly and helpful staff. The room nice but very noisy during the nights because of the various insect noises. Rent a moped to get around, the streets are not made for walking unfortunately. The hotel restaurant is ok but you can find far more better not far from the hotel.

Stay away

Got picked up at the pier by the hotel and thought “this is nice”. Did not tell me it was not included with the resort and actually cost 4x what the taxis were charging. Drinks were not good and were overpriced. Got a “mango colada” and they filled the glass up not even halfway (probably 8 oz) and charged 190 baht. The group of women that served me and my wife were honestly rude and I will not be back to this “resort” or Koh Yao Yai. We have been island hopping and Koh Yao Noi is just 100000x better.

Nice but run down. No swimming beach. Nice pool

Comfortable enough, however they were renovating all the time around us. The only time they stopped was when there was a power cut or at night. In the photos it looks like there is a beach but it is actually a wall with a big step into mud, not sand. Not a swimming beach. The pool is very nice, but most of the deck and outdoor durniture is in bad condition and dangerous in some areas. The staff were great.

We stayed in 2 of their rooms; the first night was in first line with a view of the beach, with a big porch, jacuzzi, and lots of space. It was the most luxurious room we stayed in for whole trip, and it wasn’t too expensive. We loved the look and decoration of the place, and it was very clean and comfortable. The next night we stayed at one of the smaller rooms on the second line from the beach. This room was perfectly fine, and cost half of the first room. For the “downside” this hotel is very family friendly, so if you are looking for a quiet place without big families and kids playing, this place might be a bit noisy, especially by the pool area. The location could also use a sandy beach, as you have to enter the ocean through stairs on a concrete wall. But a real beach is within few minutes driving. The personnel are nice but they speak very little English and seem a bit reserved at times. Overall the service was the bare minimum, no more or less.

Wir waren mit einem Kleinkind in der Unterkunft. Die Insel ist nur was fĂŒr Backpacker, da man ohne Roller komplett aufgeschmissen ist. Was uns an der Unterkunft gestört hat. Extrem viele Ameisen im Zimmer. Das frĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffett war um Welten schlechter als in den anderen Hotels die wir besucht haben. Ameisen neben dem ToastbehĂ€lter. Der obere Pool war total trĂŒb. Konnten nicht baden gehen. Die HĂŒtten sind toll man könnte soviel daraus machen. Einfach mal die Latten dicht machen, den Verschluss zur aussenduschtĂŒr abdichten. Ventilator am Balkon. TĂŒr zum Haus verschließbar machen (TĂŒr war durch einfaches ruckeln am TĂŒrknopf zu öffnen)

Fint resort og good value for money

Virkelig et fint hotel, hvor du fÄr good value for money. De er flinke til at hjÊlpe med transport til fÊrgen, nÄr man er ankommet, og dejlig nemt at leje en scooter. Fin morgenmad, der bÄde har thailandsk og europÊiske rÞdder, og kaffe pÄ kaffemaskine. God udsigt. VÊr obs pÄ, at Deluxe Hill top vÊrelset krÊver, at man gÄr op af en bakke i et stykke, sÄ vÊrelset ligger ikke lige ved hotellet. Der er dog 1 pool ved selve hotellet, og en oppe ved deluxe hill top hytterne. Der kan vÊre en del larm fra dyr ogsÄ - sÄ tag eventuelt Þrepropper med.

Wir sind das 2. Jahr in Folge jeweils 16 Tage im Thiwson gewesen und wir lieben das ursprĂŒngliche Flair, was das Hotel ausstrahlt. Die Lage ist atemberaubend, vor allem der Ausblick auf die vielen umliegenden Inseln. Beide male hatten wir einen Strandbungalow mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Die Freundlichkeit der Hotelmitarbeiter ist ĂŒberragend und man sollte Unfreundlichkeit, wie von manch anderen hier beschrieben, ĂŒbrigens nicht mit ZurĂŒckhaltung verwechseln. Die Leute auf Koh Yao Yai sind nĂ€mlich alle zuvorkommend aber eher etwas ruhig, was auch auf die Sprachbarriere zurĂŒck zu fĂŒhren ist. Die Anlage selbst ist grĂ¶ĂŸtenteils aus Holz errichtet und da dies ein natĂŒrlicher Rohstoff ist, ist es auch normal, dass nicht alles perfekt aussieht. Jedoch ist alles gepflegt und sauber. Wer einen noblen Betonklotz mit MarmorwĂ€nden und Böden haben möchte, soll doch bitte in der TĂŒrkei Urlaub machen und sich von den Touristenmassen ertrampeln lassen. Das Essen ist fĂŒr HotelverhĂ€ltnisse sehr gut und dazu noch gĂŒnstig. Wer sich einfach nur nach Ruhe sehnt, kaum Menschen um sich herum haben und thailĂ€ndischen Flair genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.
