"The location and views are amazing. the unit is smaller than expected and a bit cramped. The dinning area is outside and during the heavy rain we were unable to use it. Also there are a lot of trucks going past and the unit is close to the road"

"Had a short stay but it was wonderful. Although we didn’t actually meet Lene she was a phone call away and was proactive. idnt see an iron or ironing board but i didn’t call Lene to find out either!"

"Amazing spot! One of the few times where the pictures of the site don’t even do the property justice! Amazing location, large rooms and cool Victorian themes. Very much recommend staying here."

"Our door didn't lock for the inside so we slept with an open door all night. There is no security anyone can just drive in because it seem deserted. It took us 35 min to just find a worker to help us. There are many many flies in the cabins. There is a TV not connected to anything. There is no cell reception, or WiFi so if something goes wrong well your on your own. The place is extremely basic and you are basically paying for the view which is amazing. "This was a great escape from the city. Great bike trails and running trails. Ground road was not perfect pretty tuff. "

"Madeleine and Nereo were very helpful and welcoming! we had plenty of space and enjoyed the verandah with views of the mountain.We were close to town and could walk everywhere in Clarens. "

"Brenda and George were great hosts, helpful, quick to respond and assist with minor issues like an adaptor. Room, with separate shower bathroom and kitchenette was comfortable, clean, well equiped and had nice decor. Excellent value for money. Had a great 2-night stay! "

"It was wonderful and we had a fantastic stay. The property was beautiful spotless and I would recommend a stay to anyone wanting beautiful accommodation and scenery to go with it. The staff were fantastic. "

"Même si ce n’est pas de leur faute, je suis tombé sur la nuit où il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude (toute la ville d’après le proprio), et le matin carrément pas d’eau froide ni chaude...Certes le proprio n’y peut rien mais un geste aurait pu être fait...bonne chambre hormis une salle de bain assez vieillotte. "Nothing to write home about. 1. I felt the driveway needs some fixing and the parking should be closer to the units, I don’t get why it is closed when that space can be utilized. 2. The shower heads were also not good enough as water flow was not fast enough or had the right pressure. It was spraying all over."

"This was my second stay here and the staff made the stay perfect. They were, pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. The room floors could do with a scrub as well as washing and tidying up the curtains. Other than that everything else was perfect. Washroom facilities were spot on but shower floor corners need a clean. What we took away...the beautiful staff. They are your best assets there. Then comes the views. Thank you Emma and Team"

"Disappointed, the room was booked 2 weeks before arrival but was not prepared I had to asked for sheets and towels. The room had no tea or coffee and cups for tea. The room was not what I booked on line"
