"We have stayed at the kings head a few times now. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and have what you need for a lovely stay. We definately love the resident cat! Would definately recommend anyone to stay here."

"10/10 - The Plough is an amazing pub/tavern and hotel! Room was plush, cozy and well appointed. Beds and pillows were comfy! Food was yummy, beer was good and people were incredible. Easy to park!"

"Perfect location just outside Scarborough perfect for the outside concerts. Just 5-10mins drive. We had one of the outside little rooms at the back of pub with double bed and ensuite. 2 nights there and loved the pub the staff and food. Great location for Whitby, Robin Hood bay and Scarborough all in less than 30min drive."

"This place is a little gem. The food in the evenings and the breakfast is first class. If we lived local we would definitely return for a meal. We stayed in the smallest accommodation they have available which has the worst reviews and whilst the room could do with a little TLC the overal experience of the accommodation and stay was excellent for the price paid. "

"fantastic place, right in the middle of everything, staff were great, room was lovely. every busy so it's not a quiet place if that's what your looking for and parking isn't easy but whitby is a very busy place, we managed to park across the road which was great we really enjoyed our stay and will come back"

"Omg it’s a 5 star diamond venue i randomly found ! The food is awesome and a total refurb of bedrooms and dining room ! Just amazing with the outstanding beauty of North Yorkshire the views are amazing and such Clean air ! Everyone is so friendly and helpful unlike where I live down south ! "The accomodation was fine. My only complaint was about parking.. Arriving inthe afternoon, I was told it was ok to park on the car park at the front. Fortuneately, I went to the car at 7.15am, and found my car blocked in with market stalls"

"We stayed here for a family wedding at Danby Castle, 9 miles away. A lovely place, perfect location. Clean, comfortable with friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend & stay here again."

"Beautiful quiet location looking out over fields and backed by woods with lots of lovely walks for the dogs. Great base camp for whitby and Scarborough. Cute, peaceful cabins with everything you need. Loved our stay with our dogs"

"We really enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and calming, the trees blowing in the wind around us was a calming lovely sound. Our only issue was the kettle leaking every time you poured a drink and the fitted sheet was not big enough for the bed as soon as got on the bed it came off the mattress when trying to put back on you could get one side down but it pulled it away from other end so bigger fitted sheet and definitely deeper fit other than this it was amazing and just what we needed "
