Hotel room was beyond my expectations - what an incredible view from the bedroom window as well! Jetted tub and rainfall shower were highlights. I could imagine this as a cosy get away in the winter where the fire place would add to the ambience (definitely not needed for my summer stay). Breakfast was superb, staff was friendly and Kaeden was welcoming for both the check in and check out. I was able to relax at the pool until time to depart for a late afternoon ferry. One thing that was a...

The property was completely refurbished and reopened in April 2026. A very high standard specification, with warm coastal decor in guest rooms and public spaces. Would recommend.

beautiful room and lovely place

Really enjoyed our stay in Sidney - the hotel is on the waterfront and close to all amenities with excellent restaurants nearby. The town has a relaxed atmosphere with good shops. A quiet, relaxed alternative to staying in Victoria. Easy access to ferry terminal. Rooms at Sidney Waterfront Inn were clean and a decent size. The hotel was quiet overnight. Reception staff very helpful. Parking on site and buffet breakfast included.

It's a basic hotel chain, but it very clean very helpful staff, quiet room no kettle for tea though, but microwave and fridge & good sized room

Nice place, clean and tidy. Easy, would stay again. It’s in a little industrial bit, far enough out but parking easy. So would need car, but nothing wow, but a nice easy place to get some rest. Balcony was a nice size, nothing to look at, but good.

Brian on the desk made us feel very welcome and gave us a great introduction to the hotel. This boutique hotel had so many pleasing extras that i havn't seen before in any hotel in my extensive travels.... Doubt whether i will be back in Vancouver Island but if i was then Sidney and the Beacon Inn would be my first choice and i would strongly recommend. Beacon Brewing down the street was an added bonus........

Friendly and helpful staff

Friendly staff great views lovely hotel

The rooms are clean, staff are polite and helpful. Location 10 minutes Uber into the centre. Bonus: Liquor store and Chinese restaurant next door!

Love the location and a absoloutely fabulous room and view. Fantastic reception from the lovely wendy, she made us smile😃😍 definately made our stay. Loved her humour and warmth. Unique in her way, loved her. 😁

I was so pleasantly surprised by the room. I was expecting it to be comfortable but a little run down. It was certainly comfortable, but also modern and spotless. The location could not have been better and my expectations were surpassed in every way. Michael deserves a shout out for being a friendly, helpful, face. Highly recommended for great value and great stay.

Our room was a very comfortable suite with a separate bedroom and a queen bed in the lounge area which suited our family. The kitchenette was compact but had very useful items in it. The hotel is on the main road into downtown Victoria and there are lots of buses going both ways which was excellent. Also opposite Zed is a shopping centre, you can walk across in 2 minutes, it has a great food court, lots of shops and a supermarket. The staff were fun, relaxed and very helpful. We enjoyed...

What a beautiful location and building to stay in. Everything was great and the breakfast excellent, as we're the staff. Thank you.
