My two boys had a blast and they were surprised with an amazing breakfast the morning after! We enjoyed our time so much that we’re planning to re-book for next year around the same time! "Great hotel right near the water. We were traveling on bikes and they had a wonderful bike room right across from the front desk so it was very secure. Breakfast was a nice addition. We also enjoyed the balcony with views of the water and boardwalk."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"The room was clean and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful, even though we couldn't get the T.V. to work, (we are not at all technical). Big bonus being dog friendly. The free breakfast was really nice with waffles, sausages, eggs, muffins and yogurt. And we had an upgrade to a king size bed! We will definately recoment THe Waddling Dog, and we will be back!"

"The staff were very nice and the place was well put together and clean. The only thing I found a little odd was how the sink was outside of the bathroom but that's just the layout. Very satisfied overall."

"A nice room with a full kitchen. I loved the walk-in shower. The buffet breakfast each morning was a nice way to start our day. We forgot charging adapters, but not a problem. We just called down to the front desk and were quickly supplied with some loaners. Friendly staff at our late night check-in, as well as check-out."

"The front desk person was very accommodating! We were on the island for a wedding and had to come on the ferry very early. They let us check in 2 hours early to get ready."
