" Had a wonderful stay at Grand Whiz Mega Mas Manado. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located right next to the shopping center. The staff, especially Ms. Nadia at the reception, were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with authentic Indonesian flavors (not westernized like most hotels) — really delicious! Also, it’s close to many great food spots in Manado center. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again! "

"The villa we booked was not available when we arrived. I had booked and paid months earlier and was extremely upset. The gave us a new duplex which smelt of cement and the shower flooded. The TV was not connected. We got the villa the next day and the TV channels were all Chinese channels. The floor was mopped with a dirty mop as you could see the marks on the bathroom floor. The door to the balcony would not lock and the front door took a long time to open as it was stuck. The restaurant...

"The beach view was pleasant from our room. The beach was clean. Excellent excellent food. The dive staff is 5 star. Never before have I been given a hot face towel after a dive! Nice pool and ample space for relaxing."

"For a budget hotel it was absolutely fine. Quite new still so not grotty. We were at end of corridor but others on floor were very noisy at all hours and sound travelled well! Basic but nice breakfast. Indonesian food and bread/toast with spreads."

"Perfect Hilton like mattresses - super comfy!. AC, own bath, nice rooms with cable TV. Super helpful reception, pool, super central with pick up for diving, and above all phantastic warm breakfast buffet, at least 7 daily changing dishes, fresh coffee with fresh milk a rarity in Indonesia, waffles donuts etc for the sweet tooth and super fresh papaya, pineapple, mango and water melon juices and their fruit!"
