It also has a lot of amenities, like a shared living room and kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and a basketball area. We had pleasant time and Empress is a stunning beautiful lady in an put. Highly recommend this Empress Palace ( Hotel stays ) to friends."

"This hotel is unique, sort of a hidden gem tucked away. You would not think there was a hotel there. Once in the property, everything is out of place but in place. Very nostalgic. Once in the room it felt like home. It had a homely feeling to it. The room felt like my own. Great spot"

"The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

"The owners were great. The only issue was the room was separated from the washroom and the sofa was dominated by another lady staying there. There was no place to relax."

"The first room had a lot of hair on the bed. The second room also had hair. You had to lay the bed yourself with the sheets they gave you. The next day you put up the cleaning sign. The staff only arranged the bed. They did not change the sheets. They did not clean the bathroom. They did not change the towels used. They did not replenish the courtesy articles (soap and shampoo)."

"The stay was great! Clean room and has all you could need for a quick stay. I would like to suggest a few things to make it an even better stay! A bath math for the bathtub would be great to prevent any slipping incidents and an exhaust fan for ventilation on the washroom would be nice as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"

"Stayed here for business. For a 3-star hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Great amenities including free breakfast buffet. Very quiet considering the location. Easy access to restaurants and meeting places. I will definitely stay here again."
