Khách sạn Pistakee Highlands , McHenry

"The staff were super friendly and the check in process was fantastic especially since we arrived particularly late due to a delayed flight. The hotel itself is dated but cute. The downside is the water. They are on a well so the water has a sulfur smell. Due to the sulfur smell we cut our stay short but the staff was understanding and accommodating."

"Very disappointing experience. When I entered the room, the bed sheets weren’t even properly put on the bed, and the pillows were scattered around the room. The bathtub was also clogged, and the water wouldn’t drain at all. The overall condition of the room was terrible and clearly not well maintained. A hotel room should at least be clean, organized, and fully functional when a guest checks in. Very disappointing and definitely not what I expected."

"Clean room and friendly staff."

"The property manager and staff were helpful, the bed was clean as was the room. The bathtub was slippery and a little concerning. I couldn't find a ice machine anyware. But all in all a pleasant stay."

"When you pull up it is a little questionable. But the room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. Located perfectly to attend the McHenry Music Festival. And the price was fantastic"

"This hotel was clean and had everything you need. Could use some updating with their peeling office chairs and lights but that’s all cosmetic. The staff were warm and accommodating."

"The room was the cleanest I’ve seen at a hotel. I’m the type to black light, lysol, and wipe everything with sanitizing wipes. I was thoroughly impressed."

"I will be back again"

"Coffee machines were really cool with how they ground the beans and brewed the coffee. Good breakfast choices, loved the pancake machine. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Lots of parking was available."

"Nice hotel, great view from the 5th floor of Lake Geneva, very convenient to the main shopping area with many restaurants within walking distance."

"Breakfast was very good, everything else was very disappointing. I waited 20 minutes for someone to show up to check me in. I can not recommend this property."
