"Tiny room, not able to open 2 suitcases. Arrogant staff, overpriced beach services. Sun beds was made available fron 07.00-13.30 at 30 EUR and from 13.30-19.00 for 50 EUR. I.e. Not possible to rent for a day. Very few sun beds so this stay ay a mediocre hotel became very expensive. We were scammed in the restaurant, paid by card 120 EUR, after pin code they claimed that transaction did no go through, even though I showed it on the Mastercard app. Ended in a conflict, and I had to pay also...
"This was the perfect place with the perfect hosts. Quiet with a spectacular view of the sea and sunrise, it’s slightly elevated on a hill, so there is also an incredible breeze that whispers through all day and night. Heaven. And it’s a short walk to the beach and ALL the restaurants in Platis Gialos.
The hosts were so kind and helpful, filling in the gaps where I sort of dropped the ball due to not understanding how things work there on Sifnos: taxis, rentals, timelines etc.
