"The building of the hotel has an old fashion Costa Rican vibe, room is clean and basic. Like the garden and the pool. No elevator though. The breakfast was made by a lovely lady in the kitchen right beside the lobby, that give me a feeling of visiting a friend’s home."

What should have been a relaxing anniversary trip turned into a week of complaints, room changes, and unresolved maintenance issues. "The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the poolside restaurant struggled with the dinner crowd. It took 30 mins after we sat down for staff to approach us for our drinks and order. We were in the restaurant for over an hour before we received our food. The food was delicious once it arrived but the wait was ridiculous. I would stay here again but would probably find somewhere else to eat."

"This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked."
