"I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."
"First of all, the pics shown for this property are outdated as this house is no longer yellow, it's now white.
We were told that the check in was at 2pm; however, the house was not ready until 4pm, then the pics that shows multiple bunkbeds is also incorrect as there were only two mattresses directly on the floor. The lady coordinating the check-in blamed their office for having inaccuracies on their listing. After going back and forth she agreed to bring in a couple more mattresses in order to...
"We enjoyed our stay. Overall it’s an excellent spot on the edge of town and across from the beach. The rooms need blankets as it’s hard to monitor the ac and we were cold. The hot water in the shower was not hot, just tepid. "
