"The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future."

"Communication before our arrival was excellent. Getting into the property no problem. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped with everything that we needed. Great to have a small supermarket next door. The minor issue for us was having only one parking space per apartment although there was a lot of on street parking available. "The listing said there was a playground on site and there was no playground. This was the main reason I choose this place. The front step was broken, so almost tripped a few times. There were no garbage bags and on 1/10 of a roll of toilet paper (not enough for 4 days). When I called they said they’d bring some out and they never did. It smelled. The temperature in the shower when from cold to hot fast. Beds were not comfortable. "

"This was an absolutely perfect stay for our trip. The property within and of itself is well-kept, clean, quiet, and extremely convenient for sightseeing and easy access to transportation. If I do return to Falkirk I would definitely stay here again."

However, we encountered an unexpected issue. The property is spread over two levels, upon arrival, we naturally explored the space. There are three doors downstairs—two locked and one leading to the laundry room, which was unlocked. Assuming the washing machine was available for guest use, we did a load of laundry...
