"We had a great time here even though off season. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the second floor over looking the ocean which was so nice going to sleep & waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Close to everything that Plymouth offers in dining & cultural experiences. The staff at the hotel were extremely polite & helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated & the bed was awesome. The breakfast was what we expected that we see in any Wyndham, choice, IHG hotel. Bathroom was very clean as was the room. Had a nice indoor pool & hot tub. My only complaint would be no additional hooks in the bathroom to hang towels nor any type of shelves in the shower to put your toiletries on so you have to leave them on the floor of the shower. Will definitely be back."

"This place is “cleaner looking” since it got a Margaritaville facelift. Rugs were replaced in our room with a nice floor. Staff was friendly. Lifeguards were doing their jobs. Steel drummer in the lobby was awesome! -Waterpark and pool did not work until after we checked out. We were refunded for waterpark passes and received a credit for that, and we were able to come back and use the waterpark for a few hours. We can’t fault them for unforeseen circumstances. -outdoor pool was closed for weather aka “drizzle”. -Beds are hard as a rock and small, not queens as advertised. -Rooms are pretty but smell like armpits and stale smoke. -Restaurant was dirty, the bar was covered in sugar, very overpriced, and limited food. Hearth and kettle was way better. -Breakfast was greasy and substitutes for real food was made for many items. Overpriced as well. -Teams that stayed there for hockey tournaments were allowed to take the place over, and even had a flipcup party taking up an entire conference room. Lots of kids around lots of alcohol. We had stayed 9 times at the Cape Codder before this, and we have never been so disappointed. We will never visit Maragaritaville again! Very sad that this “corporate chain” took a charming piece of cape cod history and ruined it with greed."

"This hotel is in a great location, has plenty of parking, and the room was big. We traveled with kids, and were not told that the pool was under construction- first disappointment. The customer service at front desk was disappointing for the most part. Rude and entitled, no hospitality. True to form, the NE stereotype was on full display. Having lived in MA for 40 years, and other parts of the country for 15, I can confirm that customer service was terrible. At almost every opportunity, staff made it seem like having customers was a bother to them, and like it would kill them to smile. No one tried to make us feel welcome- it's really not that hard. If you go into the hospitality industry, try to at least pretend you like dealing with the public. Zero compassion or problem solving. The room was nice and well equipped, however, our door handle (to the hallway) was basically falling off- it could be easily moved in and out of the door and did not always lock when we left the room. We made front desk aware (she feigned mild concern) and said she would put in a ticket. No one came, it remained unsafe during our stay. Breakfast was a nice plus. For most people traveling is either for a fun experience, or sometimes for a stressful busy event, and in all cases, costs too much to accept being treated as if your presence is a nuisance. "

"I was disappointed with no breakfast. I did not really look when I booked but the price was really high so I expected to have it and they did not. The heat rattled but I took a business card and wedged it to stop it. The room was pool side and the room smelled like chlorine which to be fair has been the case in other hotels. "
