"We stayed here for only one night and truly enjoyed it. The host was wonderful, very personable and friendly, gave us some good advice on our forthcoming travel. We had a yummy breakfast for the small extra fees and also were able to stay for an extra time in our room. The beach was 10 meters away from our room and beautiful and quiet. Thank you, Villa Zanic for your hospitality!"

"The apartment itself was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean and tidy with a lovely shower. All the amenities you could hope for. The air on was a little load but didn’t stop us sleeping. The balcony was a lovely extra. The fresh water pool was perfect when we’d had enough of the beach but the private use of the sun loungers and parasols on the beach meant we stayed there most of the day. You can also rent a paddle board directly from VIPo for a reasonable €20 for 4 hours. The apartment is above a lovely restaurant serving local cuisine. Most tables are outside on the terrace and I was concerned about noise in the apartment but we didn’t hear a thing and it was very quiet when we ate there too. The staff were wonderful. Stephania was great at check in. She made us feel very welcome, gave us a tour and, even though we arrived well before check-in, she let us store our suitcases and make use of the facilities while our room was cleaned. Within an hour (3 hours ahead of official check-in) our room was ready and she showed us around. The one thing to consider is that the apartment is not in the heart of Split and the tacos can be pricey. There is also only one road into Split from the apartment and it can get busy and slow during peak times. This didn’t affect us particularly and we factored a little extra time to get to the airport. We would definitely return to VIPo if we’re in Split again. Thank you team!"

"This was the absolute most perfect holiday that I ever had by myself after 27 years of being a mum. I decided to take myself to Croatia for four days just to chill relax run eat sleep and this is the perfect place to do that. The staff are amazing. The rooms are clean and neat and the property has a balcony. Where every morning and every night you just look out to the ocean in the sky, I cannot say it enough good stuff about this place."

"This was a beautiful apartment in the heart of Podstrana. A 7 minute walk to the beach and several restaurants, a 20 minute drive to Split. Sanka and Joseph were such hospitable hosts, we had everything we needed and the view from our room was incredible! Olive and lime trees lined the property and it was a great place four our family, 2 adults and 2 teen girls."
