The location is another bonus—just off the main road, it’s peaceful while still close to the action. It’s about a 10-minute stroll to Lakeside, and there’s even a huge park across the road for morning runs. One of the most memorable parts of my stay was meeting fellow guests, who were all friendly and easygoing. In a fun twist, the pilot from my helicopter ride to Base Camp was staying next door!
