"Yes it was okay nothing to get excited about. Little things sometimes make an experience go from being pretty good too just being okay. Vary loose toilet seat, no kleenex in the kleenex box holder, loose grab bar excushion in the tub. Probably another reason I wouldn't stay there again which is no fault of the hotel, there's no place to eat at the exit except a couple of fast food places. I should have checked that out better myself. Then to close with somehow a travel insurance charge ended up...

"Moldy wet room and linens. The rug was disgusting. The guest pool was closed on Saturday. This is a hassle and they won’t admit the property and service are subpar."

"The room itself was comfortable and clean. However, the bathroom was a disgrace. The glazing on the porcelain tub was cracked and peeling, and completely discolored. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was scary looking. I should have taken pictures! Breakfast: the butter and sour cream were locked-up, and there was no one in sight to ask for the refrigerator to be unlocked. There was a doorbell at the front desk that said "ring for service". I rang it twice, and no one ever came."

"Nice hotel with great staff. Pillows were tiny but there were plenty to stack. Kids swam in the pool but it would not have fit very many more than my 2. Breakfast was great! We always love a good waffle machine but the biscuits and gravy were pretty good too! The surrounding area was nice and lots of places to eat/shop nearby."

"Be cautious. We booked knowing it was non-refundable if we cancelled, but La Quinta cancelled the reservation and did not refund our money. My son arrived before me and tried to check in. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. They said the refund had to go through the third party (Expedia), and Expedia claims they attempted to convince them to refund,...

"The hotel initial looked older but we were pleasantly surprised at the updated rooms, comfortable beds, access out your door to the beach, and a great sunning and kids area. It has the outer feel of the older hotels but the comfort of new rooms. We would stay here again. Great staff. "

"The view was stellar, but the accommodations were a bit rough. The Jacuzzi didn’t work, the AC didn’t work. The heater didn’t work. The shower drain didn’t drain. The AC unit outside was broken. The windows and doors were all dirty.The elevator was broken. the Jacuzzi and pool were super dirty. I could see why this place was cheaper than other places in the area. It was a rough crowd there too. But the view from the balcony and the location were stellar. "
