The service great The room clean and good air-conditioned. There was no breakfast they doing reparations in the kitchen but I have a great time. I would go again. Everything close just walk find restaurant casinos.very friendly.

Amazing location across from the parque de bombas! Gorgeous property, it was a pleasure to walk through the lobby. Clean room, easy parking. The drawbacks were 1) very loud air conditioner in the window that was disruptive to sleep and 2) the room had no soap or lotion or shampoo. I was glad I brought my own. I thought it was strange that a hotel of this caliber didn’t provide these basic items. Also, no ice was available and though there appeared to be a bar or coffee bar it was closed. The pool (and hammocks) looked really nice though I didn’t use it.

Rooms are dated. And I mean dated that half of stuff doesn’t work dated. Great location through. Hotel bar was closed on Sunday and coffee bar was closed Monday morning. It’s an iconic and historic hotel. But I wouldn’t stay there again

I would call this a boarding house. Good for 1 night . Its clean and we’ll kept. However the bathrooms are closets converted into a bathroom. Sitting on the toilet you will find your knees under the sink!! Additionally, most rooms overlook a courtyard which is noisy 24/7 .. so if you’re looking for quiet.. this place isn’t it. Parking on-site is first come first serve so not guaranteed!!

The staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel in great spot in front of the the town Plaza and in the middle of everything thats going around. Avoid rooms with Plaza view...you will not sleep if there are activities going on. From the music, car noise...to the blower and water hose street and Plaza cleaning between 4:30 and 6am... Parking is included. Room was not spotless and we never got hot water.

Hotel was very clean and charming. Location is great. It was a rainy day. There were leaks in the lobby area by the wheelchair ramp and also in the hallway to our room. There was a wedding at the hotel. We were assigned a room above the activity saloon and it was very very noisy. Staff were not helpful with this. We had little rest due to the loud music. Tv channels selection was limited and there was no option to use streaming apps because the provided remote won’t support them. There ir no coffee maker, refrigerator much less microwave in the room. Bare essentials.

Great location within the city historic center. Checkin was simple and easy. Old historic hotel feel and vibe. Nonetheless, room was a dirty with paint in the floor, dirty around door knobs, door frames and hairs in the bathroom. Shower head was corroded and made a mess of water all over the floor. AC cooled well the room but was very noisy (even with the fan in low speed). No blackouts in window so patio/street lights came through all night and sunlight early in the morning. Bed was comfy. With a bit of upkeep and upgrades this hotel would be a gem.

We had a nice view with a balcony overlooking the square (el Parque bomberos y la Catedral). The building is charming, especially from the outside, but the inside, especially the room was worn. The bathtub had paint chips coming off and floating (the water didn’t drain well when showering). The toilet was constantly running. The sink had issues too (general plumbing issues). We were surprised not to have access to coffee — a coffee pot in the room — though there was a great locally run mobile coffee stand that the hotel should promote. The AC worked really well. The staff were very nice and we discovered a locally owned boutique with great jewelry: Vonqiue (the owner is lovely).
