"Very clean, beautiful interior, well kept and housekeeping kept the room so clean as well. Staff were helpful (particularly with booking excursions) and prompt when you reached them and they were all very nice and professional, however during busier hours they took a long time to answer the front desk phone and my only other complaint was that there was construction on a pool, so we were unable to use it and it was noisy some mornings. My balcony door was really hard to open, but they did come adjust it and it was a tiny bit easier to open but not by much. Otherwise I’d definitely return when they’re done with construction!"

Hotel Miramar

"I stayed here with a group of 11 teenagers. It is good stay with lots of nearby places to eat. You can't go wrong there. They need to settle on better parking access (give the guests their own buzzer for the gate, charge extra if anything). The bathrooms in the rooms needs upgrading, some parts rusted which shows the property age. Other than that this is a good choice for a budget stay, and they are adding breakfast options soon."

Condado Vanderbilt Hotel

"Seriously, give this hotel a chance. It took me a couple of days to truly appreciate why the Condado Vanderbilt is considered one of the premier luxury hotels in Puerto Rico. By the end of my week-long stay, I was genuinely sad to leave. This isn’t flashy luxury. It has an understated, old-money elegance, and the longer you stay, the more you appreciate the incredible attention to detail and service. The staff makes you feel like a VIP. When I couldn’t figure out the coffee maker at 5:00 a.m., someone came to my room and showed me how to use it. That’s the kind of service you receive here. The rooms are spotless, and every day housekeeping replenishes the complimentary snacks, soft drinks, bottled water, and other amenities. Spend the extra money for an ocean-view room because the spacious balcony and views are absolutely worth it. One suggestion: explain during check-in that the wristband also activates your floor in the elevator. That wasn’t obvious. This is the kind of hotel you don’t fully appreciate in one or two nights. Its atmosphere grows on you, and before long, you understand why so many people love it. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, and this is one of my favorites. I can’t wait to come back."

"A perfect vacation getaway! All of the staff were so nice and helpful! We will definitely come back. FYI the waves at the beach are pretty big with a strong undertow which we were not expecting so you may have to consider going to a beach with calmer waters if you have young kids- it’s an easy, quick uber ride to one of those beaches."
