"Our stay in the cottage was lovely. A couple of things. Wifi does not work in cottage. Bathroom lights flickered. Dinner and breakfast were one of our bests on our trip. Felt bad for the manager on the evening shift. She had trainees to supervise. Front desk to manage and bar to oversee. I think that that was unfair. The wait staff should have had at least one person who knew how to clear tables."

"I had to argue with the front desk over being charged for parking. The Expedia listing said parking was free. The front desk person kept trying to charge me for parking 3 euros. She refused to look at the listing, gave me a hard time and I stood my ground as politely as possible.
The bathroom door had what looked like coffee or tea drip stains on it - like no one had cleaned it.
There were no amenities to speak of.
The sheet were scratchy."
