"Perfect seaside accomodation. Clean, modern, spacious for two people. Close to one beach and one swimming area. Rear entrance facing the ocean, easy access to the ocean. Nice hot tub in terrace. Quiet neighbourhood. There are two good restaurants on the same block and many more within walking distance. Ponta Delgada city centre is a 5min drive away. The host team is fantastic, very helpful and prompt. We loved our stay and book again. "

"I stayed at Hotel Solar do Conde and, unfortunately, the experience was not what I had hoped for. The biggest issue was the bed: the “double” was only 137 cm wide, which feels more like something from generations ago than a modern hotel standard. For a stay in 2025, it was surprisingly small and uncomfortable, especially for two adults. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was quite nice, with a decent variety and good quality.
