"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat. Die Zimmer und das Hotel an sich waren sehr sauber und hatten einen klassischen Style mit Churchill Flair. Das Frühstück war lecker und für den Preis Recht vielseitig, leider hat man trotzdem nach mehreren Tagen nicht mehr wirklich Lust darauf. Aber ist wohl normal, wenn es jeden Morgen das gleiche gibt. Das Obst und Gebäck wurde durchgemischt jeden Tag, der Rest war gleich. Das einzige negative, was es gibt ist...

"We had a wonderful time here and can’t wait to go back! We spent 5 days here as part of our honeymoon and loved it. We spent our mornings out on tours and the hotel packed lunches for us to take with, and our afternoon by the pool sipping sangria. Can’t go wrong with that! It’s a very small resort but it made it that much better - laid back, quiet, good selection of food options for me that were gluten free, and friendly staff "

"We have had the best five day stay at the hotel. The reception staff are simply amazing they even gave us a welcome drink upon arrival, told us everything we needed to know about the hotel and surrounding area. They have been so helpful, informative and generous, nothing was too much trouble. Sofia in particular helping us with our car hire needs. "Parfait endroit pour un séjour paisible à Sao Vicente. L'ambiance calme qui y règne nous donnait envie de chuchoter. La vue de notre chambre était magnifique, surtout au lever du soleil où pouvait admirer le "montain glow". Le déjeuners inclut était composé d'ingrédients frais et variés, comme les fruits du jardins et le yogourt maison. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et on aurait voulu rester plus longtemps! "

"The hotel is fantastic and we ate in the Italian and Portuguese restaurants. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Room was great and the hotel picked up from the passports that it was my wife’s birthday and left some bubbles for us when we returned from a Levada walk. Turn left out of hotel and walk 20 mins and some great restaurants got to try Bistrot Des Agnes. Turn right and 25 mins walk into Funchal. We’re coming back and will definitely stay at Porto Mare again"
