"Love old pub with plenty of character. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great food, reasonable price. Choice of cooked breakfast or fruits, yoghurts, croissants, toast and juices etc. Lovely room. Everything you need to hand. Definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend. "

"Parking was great. Food was excellent but we had a long wait for our dinner as there was only one chef on duty. He did his very best. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay there again. "

"I cannot say enough about how magical this place is! Perfectly situated for day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The definition of quaint and charming cottage in the English countryside. We had dinner and breakfast every day and the food is amazing!!

"Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."
