"New Aegli is my favorite place to stay on Poros island. It is a quick 1 hour trip on the ferry from Athens. In September, the Askeli beach is perfect for swimming—the water is warm, and I usually do a 1500 meter swim every day that I’m at New Aegli. The restaurant food is great — I always sign up for daily breakfast. Great food selection, delicious. And I generally have dinner there too!"

"This was an utterly charming hotel, with a beautiful courtyard and pool, which provided a respite from the heat and stairs of Hydra. The room was simple and somewhat rustic but extremely comfortable in every respect. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. I would be lucky to stay here again."

"I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I was so impressed how much closed was to the beach. The view was amazing and all the amenities including the breakfast. The only negative I would say is that I stayed at level -2 and the internet wasn’t so stable there. Overall experience incredible!!!"

"We really enjoyed the all-inclusive part of the resort. The reservation-only restaurant at the resort was terrible, but the buffet was consistently good. Probably would have stayed a couple of days less than we did so we could explore more than we did, but it was a nice time. The views can’t be beat, and the weather is perfect for the beach and pool."
