"One of a few beautiful iconic historic resorts left in Ontario. Only 58 rooms and personal touches ... not a huge hotel. Excellent dinner and location. Large pool and great selection of free activities like shuffle board and volley ball. Minor point ... shower curtain needs to be washed to remove mildew smell. Long covered porch with many outside dining tables. Would have been nice if more of this are was used for traditional lounge chairs to relax and read or talk on hot or rainy days."

"It is a very nice hotel, close to shopping and Santa's Village. Our room was large and fully renovated. It was on the second floor so we had to haul our stuff up as there are no elevators. The Staff is very friendly, and kind to children. There is coffee and tea 24hours in the lobby. The pool is nice and warm. But again be prepared to walk down several flights of stairs to get to it. "Booked a cabin for a 3 nights this June, for a short anniversary get-away. From check-in to check-out the staff were great! Courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area, which is beautiful. Did not take advantage of all they have to offer, tennis court, spa, but we did spend time on the water in the kayaks, relaxing by the water, and doing a bit if hiking. "The room itself was clean , expect the 3 cockroaches I found crawling in the bathroom. No one at the reception - you have to call , no towel , garbage pick up . For 2 nights no one pickier out garbage . The place is close to the beach, like 15 min walk."
