There was also a smell as if someone had smoked in room even though it was non-smoking. Walking distance from lots of food options. It worked well for our 12 hours in Ft Lauderdale. I was traveling with my 5 and 7 year old. "

"Got a very dirty vibe from the hotel. Doors and carpets were filthy. Toilet water and the free water fountain in the lobby had yellow water. Cold buffet breakfast with not that many options. Bar/restaurant was never open. No beach access, had to take a shuttle 1/2 mile to enter beach. Overall it felt skeevy."

We felt the area was pretty safe and it was close to cruise terminals. The only concern was one of the front gates did not lock so it wasn’t as secure as it could have been."
