The Stirling Highland Hotel
Good for an overnight but wouldn't stay any longer. Hotel is very tired in areas and could be doing with a refresh. Additional charges for parking and use of leisure facilities weren't made clear at time of booking. Would be nice to see some USB sockets in the room and more than the bog standard ...

Broomhall Castle Hotel
Each room is individually appointed giving them unique feels like one would find as a guest in a home. En suite bathrooms were updated and very clean. It was a thrill to stay in an historic home I just wish there had been more information available about its history.
