"Patrizio was an EXCEPTIOAL host. We called him Papa Arezzo because he was so kind, so helpful, and so knowledgeable. He drove us to a reasonable parking lot, showed us how to set how to set up the English function on our auto and phone, friended us on the WhatsApp site for incidental conversation, walked us to his favorite restaurants, and set up special discounts for us. He also wrote down certain "must see" sites for us, and then drew a map of the best way to get to Pienza, our next site, with...

"Feels like property incomplete in furnishing, still being set. Lots of service glitches...They couldn't sort my storage and I had no where to keep it. Quite frustrating given my locked had been prebooked. Air con was only 'on', but not working, with windows shut - it got stuffy. No one came to fix it. Huge space, which was nice, but felt they could have added a desk and chair in the room. Nowhere to keep your stuff other than a strange shelf unit. As bed was high, and it all just felt weird....

"We had a rental car and reserved this hotel based on the parking. We were informed by email that the garage was 15 euro a night and was a 2 minute walk to the hotel..both were false. The walk from the garage is all uphill and with luggage took us about 12 minutes. When we went to leave the garage we had to pay 25 euros. The garage attendant told us to get the 10 euro refund from the hotel. I have emailed proprietor several times asking for a refund but have never received a response. ...

"This is a truly excellent choice for a short-stay in Arezzo. Spacious apartment, tastefully but minimally decorated with a distinctive character that is rarely found in these kind of rentals. Everything you need is there facility-wise, including a washing machine. Location is a modern residential neighbourhood less than 1km southwest of the historic centre so easily walkable, although there is also a local bus stop 150m away. Arezzo railway station is 750m away for easy arrival and departure to...
