The lady at reception was nice. The parking was difficult and virtually on the street. The room was substandard, at $480.00 for two nights I expected a lot better, even though it was peak season. The spa was NOT A SPA it was a six jet spa bath, my own is a ten jet, I did try it and found there were no in/out aids, the jets were O.K. but if a spa is advertised that is what you would expect. The main room was small, the bathroom comfortable in size, the T.V. was a about a 40' Teac with only pay for view channels. I needed to work and stated somewhere that was the reason for our visit. There were NO power points anywhere near the scungy kitchen table and I had to sit on the bed to work on the computer. The fridge stank to high heaven and had not been defrosted for years. The information compendium was out of date and when I picked it up stuff fell out of it everywhere. There was a note that requested that patrons wash their dishes due to the covid situation. That's all well and good but the onus is on the owners to make sure the dishes are washed thoroughly after EVERY client visit, how do they know if this has been done? The toilet was hygienically sealed, but when I sat on the seat it was uncomfortably loose and when I tried to use the toilet brush it fell apart into the pan and the container was full of dirty water, I was nearly sick. At about 11 P.M. somebody decided to jump start a car outside of the room with much noise. The location is poor. The pool O.K. I have photos.
