"Chosen for it's nearness to the ferry terminal and very importantly a lockup garage for our bikes (we were on a cycling holiday) Hotel Louvre was very clean and the staff very helpful. It was also quiet although, no doubt being used as a stopover hotel I was aware of some early morning internal doors being opened and closed. The breakfast buffet was particularly wide ranging and sumptuous. The only minor disappointment was that there was no kettle in the room. There was a coffee maker but it...

"The first of three hotels on my vacation - and absolutely fine. The hotel was minutes away from the bus stop from the ferry - but just outside the door for everywhere else. Overlooking the harbour, it was surrounded by restaurants, A good breakfast and but a short walk to the train station."

"So the rooms DO NOT HAVE A LIVING ROOM - Only a kitchen and two bedrooms. The place is nice and right on the beach with plenty of space and no dog restrictions. We enjoyed our time just limited space when it rained"

"The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel itself was very comfortable, a simple but clean place that had everything I needed. It’s close to museums and restaurants and bakeries and grocery stores. The whole town seemed very pedestrian-friendly. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but I felt safe and comfortable and very well taken care of. Merci!"
