"A beautiful property, easy parking, easy contactless check-in. The room was lovely, clean, spacious. The bathroom also clean and comfortable.
We skipped breakfast because we have dietary restrictions and didn’t communicate in advance, plus are very early risers and generally were he on our way out at breakfast time or before.
This was a splurge for a birthday trip and it was worth it.
The only improvement might be switching away from what seems like microfiber sheets - they really retain...

"We found the hotel had old world charm but the wallpaper was peeling and our sink was constantly blocked. The staff, especially the manager, were extremely helpful. Breakfast was basic. Boiled eggs were frozen. We enjoyed reading about the history and the hotel must have looked splendid with the refurbishing in 1996. We think it needs another uplift or a significant reduction in cost."

"My husband and I stayed in a studio room. The room was very clean as was the kitchenette. The staff was really friendly while checking in. Parking was on a ramp next door and we got a parking pass to scan while going in and out. It did cost $35 a day tho. The hotel was on walking distance to the "downtown " area. If we vacation on Portland again, we'll stay there."
