Clean, spacious room. Friendly check in. The continuous “drone” of something, maybe a boiler, throughout the night, making the use of ear plugs necessary, for a light sleeper, took the edge of our stay - room 1. There was no problem with the road outside or the customers from the pub.

We stayed in the castle and had free transport down into the town which was there for us within 2 minutes each time we asked for it.

The village itself is beautiful, bizarre and strange, but strange in a good way. The fact that it was off season and the rain was coming in horizontally, meant we were the only two crazy people wandering around the village.
