A room you will not forget!

We stayed in this beautiful and historical apartment for one night, but wished we had stayed for at least one more. We learned from the landlady that this apartment belonged to the mayor of port empedocle in the 1870s. Very cool! She was very welcoming and generous. You will not find a better room for this price. It was like sleeping in a clean and modern museum, but still had a personal touch. Tips: 1. Remember to notify the landlady at least an hour before you arrive. 2. This is a great deal if you are traveling as a group and need two rooms.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Waterkoker en water in de kamer. Mooi antiek interieur. Kleine katoenen balletjes op het matras. Je moet wel lenig zijn om de badkuip in en uit te kunnen. Water spettert alle kanten op.

Gute Lage für Sehenswürdigkeiten

Das Palazzo ist eine Wohnung und kein einzelnes Haus. Lage ist sehr gut. Leider mussten wir zum Haus raus und haben kein Frühstück erhalten, weil es sich für zwei Gäste nicht lohnt. Der Besitzer ist nett. Das Zimmer hat Etagendusche und Wc.

Leuke kamer in een mooi oud gebouw. Heel toffe eigenaar die ons ook persoonlijk verwelkomde. Het enigste negatieve was dat de ramen heel oud waren dus je hoorde letterlijk elk geluid op straat. Wij waren er vrijdag en zaterdag avond en de kamer ligt aan het drukste punt van de stad.... dus veel hebben wij niet kunnen slapen...

Porto Empedocle Lugar mágico, lleno de historia y buen gusto. Habitación cómoda, fresca y detalles encantadores que nos translado en el tiempo. el baño amplio, hermoso y luminoso. El piso tiene una excelente con vista a la calle principal y fácil acceso a espacio de parqueo. Salvatore y su esposa estuvieron muy pendientes a nuestra llegada, nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y muy dispuestos a atender nuestros requerimientos. Grandes anfitriones.

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Palazzo Melluso. The space was beautiful and right on the main street of town. We picked this place to stay as we wanted to visit Scalla de Turchi and the Agrigento ruins. This was a great location right in the middle fo the two! We were in Europe for three weeks and this was the best breakfast we had in all of our travels. They family cooks a feast that is filled with traditional Sicilian fare. We loved our stay!

The rooms are very large, full of antiques, finely decorated with old world charm. There is a separate living room that is also extraordinary with it’s furnishing and comfort. The owners are so kind, engaging and helpful. You feel as one of the family but they also provide you with complete privacy. The breakfast is fabulous with additional items such as bacon and eggs if desired. They help with practical advice and assistance as desired. I went to this town just to stay in one of their rooms and I will never forget how lovely it was.

Una casa fantastica sul corso principale di Porto Empedocle,tutto curatissimo,appartamento di grande atmosfera,la stanza da letto assegnataci era molto ampia e confortevole con un delizioso balconcino. A real delight.

A great place to stay in a great location. I was a bit unsure of the town and the outside of the building at first but the accommodation was really excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. lots of nice restaurants and interesting places nearby an a "working town" feel about the place.

An absolute gem

This is an exquisite B&B housed in an elegant palazzo, within a short drive of the famous ruins of Agrigento. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful, the lodging is gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable, and our breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this one-of-a-kind B&B.
