"The location was wonderful. It’s next to a beautiful garden. The rooftop pool has a view of the clock tower. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the 12:00 checkout time."

"The pool is not heated and even the kids had difficulty swimming at the end of June. Beach is nice to walk on. Did not go in the water. Jellyfish on the beach. The food is ok, not many options for kids and strong on fish (with lots of bones still in). Water is not included with dinner, so a minimum of 5 euros for a bottle. Hotel is a bit dated. Music in the hallways on speakers start at 7am. The grounds are nice and well maintained. The check in staff was nice and the kids enjoyed the flavored...

"Beautiful property, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The host was incredibly kind and offered great tips for exploring São Miguel. Perfect location to relax after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again."

"Staff were always ready to answer questions and direct me in the right directions. I wish it was warmer and sunnier to enjoy the out door pool.
The few things I was disappointed in was the coffee in the morning….Nespresso? Or the other latter maker. The fruit was fair. The dinners were excellent and drinks were great"

"This hotel is fantastic, but I would suggest having a rental car if you stay here. It's ideal for getting to a lot of places on the island but staying very convenient to Ponta Delgada and the many restaurants there in the evening. We went out on excursions every day, and many tour operators picked us up directly at the hotel.
We were on the island for eight days, so it was wonderful to have a big enough space to fit my family of five. They brought breakfast every day with fresh fruit and local...

"This hotel is spectacular. Every room is visually curated and stunning. The space was clean and the amenities were gorgeous. I truly have nothing bad to say and think the 8.8 rating is lower than it should be. A must stay!"
