Santos festival was in progress, but noise was somewhat muted as apartment (superior) was at ground level on quieter corner of street. Staff is friendly and helpful. Two minutes or less walk from Lisbon cathedral and plenty of restaurants nearby. Surroundings as you walk into Alfama and away from cathedral...

"There's no doubt that the suites square footage size, walkable location and access to subways were excellent .... superbly clean and well appointed ... drawbacks, upon a two hour early arrival with bags there was no human to be found for at least an hour and nowhere was there a chair in the lobby or hallways and even when later contacting management access to the suite was not allowed until two hours at the 3pm marker ..."
