"The AC in the room barely worked. Temperature never went below 24 degree even if it ran all day. Room was hot. The Bathroom of room 420 has a window right next to the shower . People on the street and the next building can see inside, especially at night. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in (among a few hundred) where they need you to wear a swimming cap to enter the pool. never seen that. As a result pool is always empty :("

Sadly we had a long journey ahead, so unable to enjoy an extensive and beautifully presented choice for breakfast."

"Stunning setting- absolutely gorgeous hotel. BUT- No air conditioning and our room on the 4th floor was very hot. Restaurant is beautiful but dining experience very disappointing- mediocre, overpriced food and terrible service. Dinner a few miles down the road at the campground was better and 1/2 the price. Would stay again, in cooler weather because of the beautiful surroundings but skip eating here."

"What an incredible stay! The room was spotless, the staff was attentive, the bed was extra comfortable, the place was silent... We had everything that we needed. Plus, the hotel is in a charming village in the middle of the Chistau valley. Highly recommended!"

I liked being able to control heatng in my room; presence of a lift (albeit very small), especially as the staurcase was soiral and narrow; effective double glazing; reasonably priced breakfast; close to main avenue and cable car. Negative points: it was a bit of a trek from the SNCF station (20 minute walk); no shower holder so had to kneel down in bath and hold with one hand."
