Our family had two separate stays at this hotel. The first, on May 26, was pleasant: clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast, and convenient luggage storage. Based on that, we looked forward to returning on June 4—but were deeply disappointed.
We were assigned Room 108, which initially seemed great for a family of three. But the air conditioning wasn’t working, and despite visits from maintenance and front desk staff, the issue remained unresolved. When we returned from dinner, the room temperature had risen to 29.4°C (85°F).
No other rooms were available. The only solution was one small fan and a suggestion to sleep with street-level windows open—which let in loud city noise and posed security concerns due to the lack of screens. We had no real choice but to try to sleep in a hot, stuffy, noisy room. It was a miserable night.
Staff offered breakfast as a gesture, but that didn’t adequately address the discomfort. I requested a refund afterward, but was only offered a 15% discount on a future stay—which is of no use, as we are international travelers with no plans to return.
In short: our second experience fell far below a four-star standard. I wouldn’t stay here again.
