"First class hotel in a wonderful location. The room setting was ideal and clean and the bedding was spectacular and the bathroom facilities were first class! We loved the morning breakfast and actually had an evening meal there as well. The staff also helped us coordinate a couple of excursions within the Prague area! Five star recommendation."

"Breakfast was excellent, almost 5 stars. Especially polite and friendly staff. Great location. Air conditioning in the room was bad. Temperature in the room stayed between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius, which is great when awake, but horrible when trying to sleep. It was not possible to cool down the room at night, even though the night temperature outside was 19-20 degrees. Difficult to sleep lying in a pool of sweat, wet hair, wet sheets, because of the heat. I expect to be able to fully control...

"If you want a clean, comfortable and quiet stay then Hotel Essence delivers. Very well positioned hotel to explore the city from. The staff just let you get on with it. Just right for us. Don’t expect too many frills. Very enjoyable stay. Only improvement I could suggest is to improve the cooked breakfast (hotter and more choice)."
