This is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed, the rooms and facilities are well kept, very clean, and down right stunning! The view from thr room as well as from the entire property is just breathtaking! The staff are all super friendly, helpful, and determined to make your stay one of a kind. The food and beverage for both breakfast and lunch are incredible and the fact that they source as much as possible from their very own garden and other local sources really impressed me. If you are thinking of staying here, stop thinking and book now. We absolutely cannot wait to return for another stay!

Villa Gianlica was a great find! It’s in a great location that’s walkable to a lot of nice restaurants and the beach in Praiano. The hotel is beautiful, very peaceful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Wow where do I begin… this was the first hotel of our honeymoon and we never wanted to leave!! One of the best hotels we ever stayed at. The room was secluded, with a balcony and view of the ocean. You can hear chickens and roosters in the mornings which was a unique touch. The property is amazingly well kept. The pool area especially was amazing and so relaxing with the view of the ocean. The breakfast was awesome and the waiter was so so nice and calm, very attentive. Their staff is amazing and helpful. Cleaning service also was awesome, they made your room spotless each day. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable. The experience was unforgettable. The most relaxing place we could have ever gone to for our honeymoon. For couples this place is a haven and perfect escape!

A beautiful gem of a property located in Praiana, which is in my opinion a much nicer town than Positano. The grounds are stunning, with a great pool and hot tub. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast we lovely. Highly recommended.

This hotel is special!

Beautiful property with a stunning view. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. High quality renovation and modern. We loved everything about this property! Easy walk to a handful of restaurants although we preferred lunch at Villa Gianlica as the food is picked fresh from the property. We hope to return again in the future!

Easy location form the SITA bus stop. We underestimated the logistics of getting around Amalfi area, but very convenient close to the local bus and the larger bus to get to further away destinations. Hotel was also super helpful booking a last minute excursion to Capri. And breakfast in the garden was just so peaceful overlooking the water. Beautifully maintained, quiet hotel . We loved our stay

Amazing stay in Villa Gianlica ! The hotel is scrupulously clean and so quiet and peaceful. Our room was completely on its own with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea. Everywhere else around is so busy so the hotel is absolutely perfect to relax in. All the staff were so helpful, you feel that they are your friends. We had a problem with our car to the airport not turning up and Marika spent nearly 1.5 hours trying to get us a car to catch our flight, if it had not been for her we would have missed our flight. We will return here very soon for another stay.

Best hotel ever

We have been on a 3 week trip through Italy and this hotel by far has been the BEST! Marika at the hotel communicated with me via email before the trip helping me plan things to do for 10 of our friends. The hotel is the most beautiful property I’ve ever seen. The lunch they served when we arrived was amazing!!! We would definitely go back. Praiano is quiet but it is easy to travel to other cities. Best restaurant was In Pirato incredible views and delicious food!

We had an absolutely stunning stay at Villa Gianlica. The property is even more beautiful than the photos can show, and every element of our time there was outstanding - from the service across the team, to the quality of the food, to the amenities available. Marika especially was incredible - the most helpful host we’ve ever had. We couldn’t speak more highly of Villa Gianlica and were so sad to leave! We will be back.

Not close to anything. It was a lot of steps to get to the beach. we had a cruise scheduled for Capri that didn’t go because of the weather. only one pizza restaurant within walking distance. The balcony had a nice view of the ocean

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing. Very helpful with all inquiries. They organise transfers if you require them, dinner reservations and will assist you with whatever you need. Couldn't rate this place any higher. It is absolutely beautiful. If you know how to ride a bike i would recommend hiring a scooter as it makes it a lot easier to travel around the Amalfi Coast and there is parking right outside the hotel. The buses can get extremely packed and at times you may not fit on. Do your self a favour and stay at this hotel.

Everything was good , nothing was amazing The service was ok , the breakfast was good , tasty kind of minimal . The view from the room was good . Was very disappointed to know I need to pay for a plastic coat 30 euros a night for my baby . There was nothing to welcome us in the room such as bottle of water or whatever etc . I would not recommend , in my opinion there is lots of choice around .

We loved our stay at Villa Gianlica. High praise to the team who were exceptional hosts. Marika was so attentive, helpful and always keen to recommend places to visit and eat. Tomaso was the most kind and gentle man, very chatty and makes excellent coffee. Both were a real pleasure to meet. We felt very well looked after. The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. The views overlooking the sea from the hotel were second to none. They also have a garden where they grow their own produce which was available to eat at breakfast. The tomatoes and homemade fig jam were our particular favourites! Eggs were also available on request such as omelettes, fried eggs, scrambled etc. All delicious and set us up for the day! The hotel is in a great location, with a bus stop just outside. The walk to the marina is only 15 minutes. Also, a good choice of restaurants nearby which was ideal as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back for a visit soon!

Tucked away in a picturesque location, this charming hotel exceeded all our expectations, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff, particularly a gem named Marika. Upon check-in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing drink that set the tone for our stay. Cute villa in Praiano that’s nears everything. However, it was Marika who truly made our experience exceptional. Her warmth and genuine desire to ensure our comfort were evident from the start. Marika went above and beyond to cater to our every need. She took the time to listen to our preferences and made thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and hidden gems that we would have otherwise overlooked. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing insider tips, taking care of my grandma, Marika handled everything with grace and enthusiasm. It felt like we were being cared for by a dear friend rather than just a staff member. The villa itself was beautiful. Our room was spacious, and impeccably clean. The breathtaking views from our balcony were the perfect backdrop for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Every member of the staff at Hotel Villa Gianlica shared Marika's commitment to excellence.
